South Africa is truly honoured to have
been given the opportunity to host the
2008 World Carp Angling Championships. We have
successfully hosted both the Rugby and Cricket World Cups in
the past and as with the Soccer World Cup in 2010 we will
ensure the success of the Carp Angling Championships in
2008.
Our main aim is to assist and arrange the
World Carp Championships to be as affordable and enjoyable
as possible. We will therefore do everything in our power to
keep costs as low as possible. All aspects like transport,
accommodation and meals will be of world-class standards.
The Championships will take place at the
Bloemhof Dam which is the
most favoured carp fishing destination in South Africa.
